ELECTROTECHNICAL INSTALLATION ADVANCED FRAMEWORK at Chesterfield College
Depending on the pathway taken, key units include:
- The preparation and installation of wiring systems
- Inspection testing and certification of electrical systems
- Diagnosing and correcting electrical faults
- Electrical principles associated with electrical equipment and systems
- Practices and procedures in the work environment
This Apprenticeship is available at Advanced level and allows you to study towards a recognised qualification whilst in paid employment. Applicants to this Apprenticeship could be a mix of age and experience. As a guide, applicants may come from a range of routes including: work or work experience training and/or experience which could include a portfolio showing what you have done, Intermediate Apprenticeship, vocational or academic qualification(s).
Successful completion of the Advanced Apprenticeship will provide the qualifications required to work as an electrician and candidates will have the opportunity to add additional qualifications in order to gain Approved Electrician Status or move on to El
