Further Maths A Level at Sponne School

Course description

This is currently a modular course with all exams being taken in the summer term.  Three components are needed to achieve an AS Level.  These components will cover Further Pure Mathematics and Applied Mathematics. These will be examined at the end of Year 12 and will make up an AS qualification. They will also count towards part of your full A-level grade if you choose to continue into Year 13. Six components must be taken to achieve an A Level.  These components will cover Further Pure Mathematics and Applied Mathematics. They will be the three you studied in year 12 plus 3 more that you study in year 13.

Entry requirements

Grade A* or high A in Maths with a techer reccomendation
