Future opportunities

BTEC Nationals provide much of the underpinning knowledge and understanding for the National Occupational Standards for the sector, where these are appropriate. They attract UCAS points that equate to similar-sized general qualifications within education institutions within the UK. Science L3 BTEC can lead to further studies towards many related university courses and offer valuable skills required for employment in and around the science sector.
