Youth Point: Certificate in Progression Entry Level (NOCN) at The REAL Programme

Course description

Youthpoint is running the Steps to Employment programme which aims to provide training and support to young people in order to assist a positive transition into employment, education or training. Young people will have the opportunity to access accredited learning (gaining NOCN qualifications), and take part in sessions that build self-confidence and raise self-esteem, participate in practical activities which develop skills for independent living and gaining employment.

Learners will engage in sessions that incorporate the young person’s varied learning styles including discussions, mind mapping, practical activities, problem solving scenarios and interactive worksheets.

Sessions will provide a variety of enrichment activities which will allow learners to focus on self-awareness, managing feelings, decision making, managing stress, conflict resolution, personal responsibility, self-concept, empathy, communication and group dynamics.
