Apprenticeship in Accounting at Kaplan Financial

Course description

The AAT is a internationally recognised qualification amoungst worldwide employers. It is awarded by the Assocation of Accounting Technicians, with over 100,000 members it is the largest accounting awarding body in the UK today. This Apprenticeship is for those who like working with numbers and are interested in the financial side of business. All organisations have a finance function, whether they are a commercial enterprise, part of the government, a public body such as the NHS, or even a charity. Working in finance gives you a real insight into how the organisation operates and the chance to make a real difference to organisational performance.

Entry requirements

Kaplan Financial are pleased to be offer fully government funded courses for 16-18yr olds for Level 2, 3 and 4 where applicable under the current Business Apprenticeships and Accounting Apprenticeship scheme. This scheme allows you to study for an accountancy qualification or business apprenticeship and to get some or all of your accountancy course fees paid by the government. In order to qualify for the funding, you must fulfil certain criteria. The main ones being: * That you are a UK resident living in England for the last three years. * That you are not currently in full time education. * That you are 16 years old or over. * That you are not a graduate. * That you are working at least 16 hours per week in an a relevant business environment.
