Business studies at Cardinal Newman Catholic School

Course description

On this course you will investigate planning and finance, management and business strategies. You will understand the changing environment in which businesses operate and how they can respond to and manage these changes. You will also develop a selection of valuable transferable skills that include identifying problems, proposing solutions, challenging assumptions and presenting arguments.

Business Studies A-level appeals to dynamic students who enjoy the mental challenge of studying an everchanging and vibrant subject as part of a varied bundle of AS-levels. It is also popular with students who, having selected arts or sciences at AS-level, appreciate problem-solving tools and skills. These skills and understanding will not only lead to further study at university, but will give you a wide range of future employment opportunities.

The equivalent of atleast five GCSEs at grade C or above
