Diploma in Motorcycle Maintenance & Repair Principles Level 2 at West Kent College

Course description

You will discover how to meet healthand safety requirements in the workshop and learn how to:
- Carry out routine motorcycle maintenance
- Remove and replace units and components relating to engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes and electrical and electronic systems

You will be assessed by practical and written tasks and externally set examinations. Supported work experience is arranged with your tutor.

Entry requirements

You will need four GCSEs at Grades D/3 or above, including English and maths. Alternatively, a Level 1 Diploma in Motor Vehicle Maintenance with/3 GCSE in English and maths or functional skills Level 2.
We will invite you to attend an interview where you will need to show your interest in the subject and the potential to succeed.

Future opportunities

Progress on to the Level 3 Diploma in Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair, or enter employment or Advanced Apprenticeship.
