Diploma in Management ILM Level 3 at Lancaster and Morecambe College

Course description

The course is ideal for new managers keen to gain a qualification to support their progress into a new role. It can also be beneficial for experienced managers who do not currently hold a managerial qualification and wish to gain accreditation to support further career moves. For businesses this can be a good supplement to your internal management training and be strong preparation for your future senior leaders.

The programme comprises of the following units Manage personal and professional development Manage team performance Principles of leadership and management Principles of people management Principles of business. 

Entry requirements

To benefit from this programme you will need to be in a current managerial position with responsibilities. You will need the support of your organisation as there will be a requirement to complete some work and assessments within work hours. You must have a good standard of written English. We will complete an assessment before commencement of the programme to assess your current level. 

Assessment

This course is continuously assessed in the workplace by portfolio building, on the job assessment, presentations and some exams.

Financial information

The programme is free when delivered utilising Apprenticeship funding.

Future opportunities

This can lead to a CMI level 5 Management.
