Learning for Work (Entry Level 3) at Bury College

Course description

This course covers a range of academic and social topics, which will provide students with the qualities needed for employment. The course can build on prior learning in order for students to be able to progress to employment or to Level 1 courses by providing a combination of valuable skills. Students must be committed to a full-time programme of study, have good communication skills and be able to work independently. Please note that because of national educational developments this course may be replaced by a similar programme of study.

Entry requirements

Entry is subject to interview and school/college reference initial assessments and students must be working at Entry Level 3. Students should be interested in gaining employability skills. (Vocational options are available including Art, Catering, Construction, Health and Social Care, Business, Performing Arts, Animal Care and Hair.)
