Level 2 Diploma in Coaching and Leadership at Kingston College

Course description

This qualification gives aspiring coaches and sports leaders a fantastic opportunity to enhance their skills by acquiring a mix of professional qualifications. This course gives learners the opportunity to enhance coaching skills through a variety of sports.

Course content

1st4Sport Level 2 Coaching qualification. Students will learn to coach various ages and study what it takes to be a coach and leader. Students will also continue to study GCSE English and Mathematics if not already achieved at grade C/4 or above. Work experience forms an essential part of this study programme.

Entry requirements

Four GCSEs at grade D/3 or above to include English or successful completion of an appropriate Level 1 course.

A successful interview and satisfactory reference are also required.

    • The site at Kingston Hall Road is the College's main site and houses the Student Registry and Welfare departments as well as Deli KC and the ACT Theatre.  The Arena Sports facility and Arena Hair and Beauty are both attached to this building, which also houses the central administration facility for the College.
