Course description

The Level 1 Diploma in Electrical Installations is the starting point if you’re thinking about a career in electrical installations. The course offers a variety of different practical tasks and techniques and is an ideal introduction to the electrical industry or as a wider introduction to the basics of engineering. The course is designed to give the student an introduction to basic engineering techniques and focus on practical aspects of the electrical installation industry. 

Course content

You’ll learn about everything from measuring, marking and cutting of materials all the way to the connection of electrical equipment, such as lighting and socket outlet circuits.

      as well as designated areas for coaches and other large vehicles.


      Once on site you can have access to our catering facilities (subject to agreement) and a range of rooms, 
      from our Theatre, with 264 retractable seats, to a standard classroom.

      We also have full IT support, and can offer rooms with either Macs or PCs running the latest industry-standard software.
