Business BTEC Extended Certificate Level 2 at East Berkshire College

Course description

A BTEC First in Business will help you to take the first steps into the business world.

Your course will mix business theory with practical application and you will study a range of mandatory and optional units.

You'll learn skills such as Business enterprise, selling and promoting a brand and financial awareness.

In addition to this you will have the opportunity to one weeks work experience in the business world

Entry requirements

You will need a minimum of four GCSE grade D or above including English and maths


Progress is measured through both exams and on going assessment allowing you to gauge your performance on a continuous basis

Future opportunities

  • You can progress onto BTEC Level 3 or an apprenticeship
  • Employment in a business or administration role
