National Certificate in Floristry at Sutton College of Learning for Adults - SCOLA

Course description

This a 2 year part-time vocational course. The award is suitable for school leavers, those wishing to progress into higher education or for adults looking for a change in career. To achieve the award, candidates must undertake assessments for a total of 11 core units & pass a multiple-choice test. The practical assessments include: aspects of art & design in floristry, hand tied & presentation designs, wedding designs, funeral & sympathy designs, floral decorating, promotion & display. It is recommended that you have a work placement for 60 hours during the course. In addition, a registration fee of £120 is payable to register for the qualification at the start of term. Students should allow £10-£15 per week extra for flowers and foliage.
