Travel and Tourism Level 3 Diploma at Stratford-upon-Avon College

Course description

If you have a passion for the travel and tourism industry, then there is no better place to study than Stratford-upon-Avon.

The birthplace of Shakespeare, home of the world famous Royal Shakespeare Company, is set in beautiful Warwickshire – an internationally recognised tourism destination. This Level 3 course focuses on the cultural and heritage aspects of the industry unique to our location. It goes much further however, and, as you would expect, allows you to explore the sector in greater detail, and ensure that when you progress to employment or higher education you will be head and shoulders above the rest. In addition to the focus on the opportunities on our doorstep you will also explore the industry on a larger scale including the UK, Europe and global developments.

Entry requirements

You will need to have at least one of the following:

  • 4 GCSEs at grade C / grade 4 or above including English Language, or;
  • Level 2 qualification in a relevant vocational subject area and GCSE English Language at grade C / grade 4 or above.

Assessment

You will be assessed in a range of ways that may include the completion of assignments, projects, question papers, presentations, observations and portfolios though out the course.
