Intermediate Apprenticeship in Nail Services at White Rose School of Beauty (Huddersfield)
The intermediate level apprenticeship in Nail services will enable candidates to gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills in order to provide Nail Services. The apprenticeship is comprised of the NVQ level 2 diploma in nail services and functional skills in English and Mathematics at level 1. Apprentices will need to be employed giving them the valuable experience and skills required to work in the industry.
The intermediate apprenticeship in Nail Srvices comprises of the level 2 NVQ diploma which will cover the following areas:
Provide Pedicure Services
Provide Manicure Services
Carry out Nail Art Services
Apply and Maintain Nail Enhancements to Create a Natural Finish
Promote Additional Services or Products to Customers
Fulfil Salon Reception Duties
Develop and Maintain Effectiveness at Work
Ensure Responsibility for Actions to Reduce Risks to Health and Safety
Additionally, candidates will also undertake functional skills in English and Mathematics at level 1.
Entry to the apprenticeship will be by interview, initial assessment and a candidates enthusiasm to work in the profession.
- Assessment is through portfolio building and continual assessment of practicalskills, written work and assignments.
- Learner progress is monitored through regular tutorials and reviews.

The cost will vary depending on age and current qualifications and will need to be discussed with the College.
On successful completion you can progress on to the level 3 advanced apprenticeship in Nail Services.
