Religious Studies at Shire Oak Academy

Course description

The RE GCSE course is a recommended short course studying four topics within Christianity. The course has a focus on deep philosophical thinking and debating eithical questions about life issues. Students are required to study the Nature of God (Topic 1) and debate the existence of God, as well as death and afterlife (Topic 4) in which they will consider the characteristics of the soul and what the afterlife is seen like.
