Plastering - NVQ 3 Plastering at Calderdale College
This qualification is based solely on site in your chosen trade area. You will produce and NVQ portfolio based on the work you complete whilst in employment.

Some of the units that you will complete are: Produce Plastering Finishes for Existing Projects, Endorsements, Internal, Conserve Solid Plastered Surfaces, Endorsements, Internal Plasterwork and/ or External Plasterwork, Install Fibrous Plaster on Existing Projects (Health & Safety Test Required) There are 6 units in total, some of the above are mandatory units and others are optional. More information will be available at enrolment. You will be regularly visited on site by a College assessor who will assist you in gathering the needed evidence to prove competence.

Applicants should possess a Level 2 qualification in Plastering or have extensive experience in the trade.
Continuous assessment throughout the course based on: Practical observation, Oral questioning, Portfolio evidence and Written assessment.
In most cases students aged 18 and under who wish to enrol on a full time further education course will have their fees waived. Students who are aged 19 and over and who wish to enrol on a full time course should contact our Student Services Team on 01422-399367 for more information.
All successful students may have the opportunity to progress onto HND or NHC with the College.
