Travel and Tourism at St. Katherine's School

Course description

The BTEC in Travel and Tourism is designed to allow students to gain a sound understanding of the key features of travel and tourism industries and how they operate and interact to meet the growing needs of today’s customers.

Students will explore concepts such as marketing and customer service. There is also a strong focus on the functions of travel and tourism industries.

Students are assessed in a variety of ways from individual assignments and presentations to group role plays and scenarios.

The grades available through this course are the equivalent of 2 GCSEs awarded at Pass, Merit, Distinction and Distinction*.

Entry requirements

No prior attainment is required to study this course.
