Bench Joinery - Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3 (EAOP) at Tameside College

Course description

This Apprenticeship will provide you with the skills, knowledge and experience you will need to carry out a range of joinery work to the standards agreed by the leading industry bodies. This course will enable you to gain a good overall understanding of the wood trade, while also providing you with industry-recognised skills and qualifications. During the course, you will learn how to set out, mark out and manufacture complex joinery items. You will be working as part of a larger team and will be responsible for organising your own resources and maintaining a safe working environment. Tameside College will deliver an NVQ Level 3 Apprenticeship in Bench Joinery via work based learning and day release to college. You will also undertake relevant Key Skills and Technical Certificate. The minimum duration of the apprenticeship will be 12 months and full training will be provided by the employer.

Entry requirements

GCSE grades A*-C or equivalent.
