Health and Social Care Level 3 Apprenticeship at The Vocational Learning Centre Limited

Course description

If you take an Apprenticeship at Level 3, the framework will include:

  • Diploma in Health and Social Care
  • Service
  • Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care
  • Functional Skills Numeracy
  • Functional Skills Literacy
  • Personal Learning and Thinking Skills
  • Employment Rights and Responsibilities

Course content

To achieve a full Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care qualification you will need to gain 58 credits. 28 of these must come from the achievement of the 9 mandatory units. The remaining 40 credits must be achieved by completing the optional units. To achieve a full Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care you will need to gain 21 credits from the 9 mandatory units.

Assessment

You will be assessed on and off the job by a dedicated vocational facilitator who will support and guide you through your qualification. Additionally you will undertake an onscreen multiple choice assessment to demonstrate your understanding of the sector requirements.
