Electrical Installations Level 3 at Peterborough Regional College
The Level 3 qualification is aimed at those who have already completed the Level 2 qualification or with some relevant experience and knowledge of the industry.
The qualification covers many areas within electro technical technology, such as: • Principles of electrical science, • Test and inspecting • Fault finding
You will need to have completed the Level 2 Electrical Installations qualification and have 4 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above including English, maths and science.
Candidates will be assessed by on–demand multiple choice tests (available through the City & Guilds assessment platform e–volve), practical assignments and written assignments.
You will be required to purchase your own safety equipment (boots and overalls) prior to starting the course. Details on where to purchase these will be given to you. You will also need a BS7671 and an on–site guide.
This course can lead directly into employment as it offers learners the chance to develop their skills and knowledge to a high standard recognised by the industry. In addition, we also offer a number of higher level qualifications offered.
You will be required to attend a Welcome Event, details will be provided upon application.
