Photography A-Level at The Ridgeway School and Sixth Form College

Course description

(This course is run in collaboration with St Joseph's Catholic College).

What will I be studying?

A Level Photography aims to develop your understanding of photography, as a form of artistic expression and as a medium of communication and social documentation. It will help you make aesthetic and technical judgements by acquiring an interest in the practice, history, principles and application of photography.

Where can it take me?

Photography A Level is accepted at many universities, including for Photography-related courses. You may also consider completing an Art Foundation Course or a Photography higher education course.

Entry requirements

At least 4 C grades at GCSE (or equivalent) in at least 3 different subjects.
