Professional Cookery Apprenticeship Level 2 at Bath College

Course description

This 18-month apprenticeship is for those who work in the hospitality industry within catering establishments delivering high quality food and dishes. You will cover areas such as soups, pastries, meat, fish, desserts and bakery using more advanced cookery methods. There is a day release element to this course for theory and practical training.

Assessment

Assessment of the NVQ is carried out in the workplace and the assessor will help your employee to identify any gaps in their knowledge or skills and plan to close these gaps through exercises and activities set between assessment visits. 

Assessment of the other elements will take place in College with a tutor on a day release programme.
