Hospitality and Customer Service Level 1 at East Surrey College

Course description

This is a general introductory course that covers the different areas of the hospitality industry (e.g. food preparation, servicing rooms, customer service and food service)

Course content

The course embeds literacy. The course will include a Functional Skills qualification.

Entry requirements

Qualifications at Entry 3 or equivalent

Assessment

The vocational qualifications are examined through continuous assessment and students will build a portfolio of evidence.

Financial information

If you are under 19 on 31/08/2016, tuition is free. If you are 19 or over please consult Client Services for advice and guidance on funding and eligibility.
 
Please be aware that there may be additional costs for equipment and educational visits. This information will be available from the curriculum staff at interview.

Future opportunities

Employment in the hospitality sector or progress onto other courses.
