Art & Design AS at Charles Darwin School

Course description

There are two units Unit 1 is 60% of the AS, internally set and marked, externally moderated. We will provide you withy may opportunities to develop your visual language skills through a structured programme of study. The skills include: improving your drawing; developing ideas from a variety of starting points; studying artists/designers and the way they work; experimenting with a variety of materials (paint, clay, wood, textiles, printing, photography, wire, etc.). Unit 2 is 40% of the AS, externally set 8 hour exam, internally marked, externally moderated. We will guide and support you to ensure you get the best possible grade which reflects your true potential.

At least a good B at GCSE
