Maths A-Level at Bridgnorth Endowed School

Course description

Are you ready for a challenge? Do you have an enquiring mind, the ability to solve problems and a sound knowledge of GCSE Mathematics? If so, then A Level Mathematics might be right up your street. Mathematics is highly regarded by employers and universities because of the demands it makes and the transferable skills it develops. This A Level Mathematics qualification has a compulsory Core Maths element that makes up two-thirds of the course. This is complemented by two applied modules: Statistics in Year 12 and Mechanics in Year 13. Throughout the course, you will develop your logical thinking and problem-solving skills alongside your ability to process, interpret and analyse information. In addition to this, you will develop your tenacity to see complex and demanding problems through to the end.
