Unit 12—Promoting positive behaviour
Unit 14—The impact of long term physiological conditions
Unit 15—Promoting health and wellbeing
Completion of this qualification will ensure you have all the right skills and qualities to enter the world of health and social care. The diploma will provide you with the right knowledge and competences required when entering into employment, or furthering your studies at university.
Students will develop professional and personal skills through interaction with people who work in the sec‐ tor or require care or support, as well as theoretical knowledge and understanding to under‐pin their skills.
This course has twelve units and is assessed through coursework, that is moderated and may take different formats such as presentations, written reports, news articles and observations in work place scenarios. Five of the units will be assessed through examinations which have a variety of questions from multiple choice to long answer questions based around different case studies.
