Course description

The Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing, has been developed to ensure that it meets the needs of the plumbing industry.

Students will learn:

  • Hot and cold water systems
  • How sewers work
  • Building and Water regulations
  • Plumbing tools; their care and uses
  • Construction materials used in Plumbing
  • Health & Safety.

Course content

The Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing, has been developed to ensure that it meets the needs of the plumbing industry.

Entry requirements

  • GCSEs Grade C or above in English and Maths
  • Initial college assessment
  • Successful Interview with college staff.

Assessment

Completion of course portfolio, assessment of student practical work, written tests based on student coursework and Functional Skills examination.
