BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Travel and Tourism at The John Henry Newman RC School

Course description

• Students will develop an understanding of many aspects
of the travel and tourism sector.
• The qualification is made up of a number of mandatory
and optional units including: Investigating the Travel and
Tourism Sector, Customer service in Travel and Tourism,
European Destinations and The Business of Travel and
• The vocational nature of the course means that there will
be opportunities for pupils to see the travel and tourism
sector in action. Previous visits have included: local
Tourist Information offices, Whipsnade Zoo, Madame
Tussauds and the London Eye.

Entry requirements

At least four Grade D passes at GCSE
