Design & Technology Resistant Materials GCSE at Warlingham School

Course description

This course is concerned with developing designing and making skills, predominantly in wood, metal and plastic. Students learn a number of skills, processes and techniques for working in these materials and then use them to design and make their own individual products. The course also looks at industrial design and manufacture techniques as well as engineering and modelling skills. How will I be assessed? Part 1: Coursework 60% Including the practical and design folder Part 2: End of Course examination40%
