Cabin Crew In Flight Services - City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma at Chichester College

Course description

The City and Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Air Cabin Crew is a fun, interactive and dynamic course which is designed for those wishing to seek a career as cabin crew. It gives students the opportunity to gain a broad knowledge and understanding of the skills required for the cabin crew role through practical, theory and work related projects. The course also provides students with valuable customer service skills by working in our training restaurants

Course content

The course covers all aspects of the airline industry including; Introduction to Airline/Aviation operations Airline Health, Safety and Security, Airline Emergency Procedures, Crew Room Duties Role of Air Cabin Crew (Onboard), Preparation for Employment as Air Cabin Crew. City and Guilds Level 2 Barista, RSPH Level 2 Food Safety. If you are aged 16-18 you will follow a study programme consisting of your main qualification, English and maths, enterprise and enrichment. 

 
Group and individual activities and practical exercises on board our Boeing 737 aircraft. Lessons will be engaging and full of useful information and learning opportunities. Come and join us! 

Entry requirements

4 GCSEs grade C or equivalent, including maths and English. Must be 17 years of age or older. Be successful in our Cabin Crew assessment day. Confidence, enthusiasm and reliability are all desirable qualities.

Assessment

All units are graded with Pass, Merit or Distinction and are assessed by either written assignments, practical role plays or short answer tests. Mandatory work experience assessment in Goodwood or Options Restaurants.

Future opportunities

This course will prepare you for the cabin crew role. Successful completion of the qualification will give you the knowledge, experience and skills required to seek employment opportunities within the airline industry.

Further information

The course will prepare you for roles within the aviation industry. Uniform- £117.00, is compulsory and must be worn for all lessons and work experience. Offsite Safety and Emergency Training -£130.00
