Health and Social Care Traineeships at Westminster Kingsway College
You will spend two days per week in College studying an Introduction to Employment in Adult Social Care plus functional skills (English and Maths). You will also study: Workplace skills and Customer Service in Health Care and Health and Safety in the workplace. You will also spend three days per week with an employer in the Health Care Industry learning practical ‘on the job’ skills and gaining essential work experience. You will also study communication, teamwork and preparing for interview.
Successful completion of this course could enable you to progress to an Apprenticeship or a higher level course while also developing your skills in the workplace.With the skills and experience gained on your Traineeship, you could progress to an a full-time Apprenticeship, full-time course and progress into the work place.
