This is a 2 year course, which consists of 6 units of work:

Unit 1 Developing Effective Communication in Health & Social Care. CORE

Unit 2 Equality, Diversity and Rights in Health & Social Care. CORE

Unit 3 Health, Safety and Security in Health & Social Care. CORE

Unit 4 Development Through the Life Stages.

Unit 5 Fundamentals of Anatomy and Physiology for Health & Social Care.

Unit 21 Nutrition for Health & Social Care.

Entry requirements

5 C+ Grades @ GCSE

Assessment

Equivalent to 1 A Level

Final Assessment - Based on assignment work within units of work. No final written examination.

Overall Credit value

Points per unit = credit x grade TOTAL

POINTS

Pass: 7 points for individual units (0 - 459 RANGE)

Merit: 8 points for individual units (460 -499 RANGE)

Distinction: 9 points for individual units (500 - 519 RANGE)

Distinction * (520 and above)
