This course is designed to develop your independence.The course will include: personal presentation and appearance, creative studies, managing money, travel, using local services, leisure activities and keeping healthy and safe. The key elements of English, maths and ICT will also be delivered.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements, but a willingness to participate in college life is essential. Places will be allocated following a successful interview and assessment day.

Assessment

Throughout the year you will be assessed by completing practical activities and building a folder of work, there are no formal written exams.


Future opportunities

Depending on ability, you can progress from Entry 1 through to Entry 3. Following Entry 3 you may be able to progress to a Level 1 programme.

The campus includes a state of the art library and learning resource centre, a performing arts theatre, an industry standard design studio as well as laboratory and sports facilities. There are ample parking spaces on site and great transportation links - both bus and train - just 15 minutes from Birmingham City Centre.
