Course description

The Physics course is designed to encourage students to progress smoothly from previous studies in Physics to develop in‐depth knowledge and understanding of the principles of Physics. Students gain hands‐on practical skills and data analysis skills and appreciate how Science works and its relevance beyond the laboratory.

Students are expected to achieve a B grade in GCSE Science and a B in Maths.

After studying Physics you can go on to a career in Science or Engineering and as employers appreciate the potenƟal of workers who are highly numerate and able to use abstract, logical thinking to solve problems in areas as diverse as Finance and Engineering. Physics students are able to enter many diverse careers.
