Chemistry AS/A Level at Bow School

Course description

In a complex and changing world, the study of Chemistry is essential in our everyday lives and will be vital in helping the world respond to some of its biggest challenges. It forms a bridge between Physics and Biology and is highly regarded as an entry qualification to the large majority of Science and Engineering degree courses. It is an essential requirement to both Medicine and Veterinary Science degree courses. Chemistry will appeal to those who wish to use their Mathematical skills in other subjects and want to learn how to develop new products and processes.

Development of practical skills in chemistry, Foundations in chemistry, Periodic table and energy, Core organic chemistry

Entry requirements

GCSE grades BB in Core and Additional Science (or B in GCSE Chemistry) and B in GCSE Mathematics, in addition to five A* - C grades, including English and Maths.
