Apprenticeship in Vehicle Sales at Skillnet Automotive Academy
This qualification covers activities within the motor industry that relate to vehicle sales personnel working in all types of dealerships, specialist sales centres and garages. To satisfy the requirements of this apprenticeship programme and therefore be awarded an apprenticeship certificate, apprentices must successfully complete: • the induction including Employment Rights and Responsibilities • all three Key Skills • the technical certificate listed below • the NVQ. Apprentice Induction An apprentice induction must be completed and must include an introduction to Employment Rights and Responsibilities. Key Skills: Communication Level 1 Application of Number Level 1 Information Technology Level 1 Technical Certificate: Certificate in Vehicle Sales Level 2 NVQ: Vehicle Sales - Level 2 Additional employer requirements It is common for employers to require apprentices to have a full driving license in order to drive vehicles and take customers on test drives.
There are no set entry requirements for Apprenticeships, although some of the employers we work with prefer applicants to have 5 GCSE passes at grade “C” or above. You need to be living in England, aged 16-24 and not taking part in full-time education.
The course offers you a specialist work-based qualification to support a range of careers in vehicle sales or to progress onto studying for an NVQ level 3 in Sales or another related subject. With further training, you could continue to develop
