Advanced Level Religious Studies at King Solomon Academy

Course description

Religion has formed our way of thinking, systems of morals and laws, and our daily routines for generations. We live in a world where religion can still be a divisive issue yet can also bring communities together and be a source of good in the world. A-level RS helps us to assess the role that religion plays in our lives and our communities, and helps us to learn more about different aspects of religious life.

Entry requirements

It is recommended that KSA A-level RS pupils secure a B at GCSE RS as a minimum. For pupils who may not have had the opportunity to study RS GCSE but are still keen to take the course, you will need to have a B grade or above in another humanities subject and we will discuss your choices in detail at interview. English Language will also need to be at least a GCSE grade B in order to access the course.
