Course description
Our BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Performing Arts is designed to give you the very best experience and preparation for progressing their career in the Performing Arts industry. The exciting and dynamic course is flexible and can allow you to choose the most appropriate pathway for your development as a performing artiste. The course will involve participating in the regular Performing Arts productions that take place throughout the year and these include Songs from Musicals, Variety Performances, Alder Grange has Talent and full scale theatrical stage productions.
The course also benefits from being able to offer practical workshops from industry professionals and trips to see professional Performing Arts productions. Performing Arts students will also work collaboratively with the Creative Media and Music Technology students to create portfolios and show reels of their achievements.

Y12: Performing to an Audience, Variety Performance and Voice
Y13: Film and TV acting, Musical Theatre performance and Dance
