Music BTEC Level 3 at Kemnal Technology College

Course description

This is an exciting vocational course that extends existing performing skills, as well as providing learners with the necessary knowledge and skills to engineer, record and produce both live and in the professional recording studio environment. There are many different units to choose from when creating the ideal course and what is fantastic about the BTEC, is that we have the ability to tailor the course to the students needs, interests and strengths. The full Subsidiary Diploma course involves working and collating evidence for 6 units across two years.

The production units will give students experience working in a studio as both the performer and engineer, with a focus on improving ICT skills. For the performing element of the course the learner will develop professional approaches to rehearsing, performing and recording both on stage and in a studio environment.
