This course will give you the practical skills linked to engineering - in manufacturing, machining and electronics.
You will be able to develop and demonstrate your practical skills and measurement and inspection techniques in relation to manufacturing, machining and electronics. You will also learn functional skills.
You will ideally have 4 GCSEs, with D grades in GCSE English and Maths. Entry on the course is subject to an interview.
You will complete a personal portfolio, do online tests, and carry out observed tasks.
You can progress onto Level 2 qualifications, such as Design & Craft, Technology or Product Design (subject to an interview).
