Further and Higher Education is a popular choice for many of our ex-students. The opportunities are endless following a course like this. It is inevitable that many students wish to follow the path into the performing arts industry by either a performance route or working in the technical or back stage roles both in stage and film/TV. However the skills developed on a course as this one suit any career path as it helps to build independent learning and teamwork co-operation skills. It will give you confidence in yourself and your ability to make decisions. These skills are required in most career paths and will suit anyone wishing to enjoy their time in AS and A2.
You will be expected to attend various theatre trips to widen your understanding of the performing arts industry, and to aid inspiration for your own work. The average cost of each trip is approx. 20 including travel. Your performances will be presented to audiences both invited and public and you will be expected to take some responsibility with the school shows.
