Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Level 2 at BCTG

Course description

Are you looking to get your foot in the door and kick-start your career in the automotive industry?  Look no further!

The apprentice will complete an NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair; the Motor Vehicle Technicial programme allows apprentices to put theory into practice within an automotive training environment.  Covering all aspects of vehicle repair and maintenance, apprentices also have to complete a portfolio demonstrating newly acquired skills and knowledge gained throughout the programme.  On successful completion of the level 2 we offer progression opportunities onto a level 3 apprenticeship, this will offer the learner a more in depth understanding of mechanics and diagnostics.

Initial Advice & Guidance (IAG)

Entry requirements

Entry requirements include GCSE's at grades A-C to include Maths and English

At GTG we offer a state of the art training facility which provides the apprentice with the opportunity to work with the latest in training technology and equipment.  Over the course of 2 years we offer onsite and offsite mentoring and training.  As an apprentice you will attend our training centre for approx. 6 weeks within both your first and second years.
