International Trade & Logistics - Apprenticeship at East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire)

Course description

This Apprenticeship is designed for individuals who want to work within the import and export industry. Logistics employers rely on skilled staff to ensure that documentation follows the legal requirements of each country. Depending on the size of the company, freight forwarding involves administration and customer service for processing export and insurance documentation, customs clearance and organising the movement of goods by road, rail, sea or air.

Entry requirements

All potential Apprentices will benefit from average to good GCSE grades, D, C, B & A. Support is given to all future apprentices who have not got the required grades of maths and English for the framework. The functional skills delivery is both group delivery and one to one depending on the level of support required.
