Teaching and Learning in Schools (Support) - Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship (Cache) at Blackpool and The Fylde College

Course description

This Apprenticeship develops the knowledge and skills for all those who wish to work in the school environment in a classroom support role. It will enable you to work alongside a teacher in a primary or secondary school. You will study key modules such as Safeguarding and Welfare of Children and Young People, Health and Safety, Communication and Supporting Learning Activities. As part of your Apprenticeship you will also undertake functional skills qualifications in Maths, English and ICT.

Entry requirements

To apply for an Apprenticeship you will need a keen interest in the Industry. You will be invited to attend an Interview with the related Curriculum area to give advice and guidance about the job role and qualification. You will be required to undertake initial assessments in Maths and English. To be an apprentice you need to be working a minimum of 30 hours per week in the related occupation of your chosen apprenticeship.
