Aims of the course
·Sociology is the study of why society is organised the way it is, therefore our
main aim is to develop a critical understanding of contemporary social process
and social changes.
·To develop your research skills and your ability to weigh up evidence and
arguments.
·Develop skills that will enable you to focus on personal identity, roles and responsibilities
within society.
What are Sociology classes like?
Due to the nature of sociology, classes are focused towards debate, group research,
collaborative learning and examination practice creating a toolkit of
skills
