Health and Social Care - A Level at Ruskin - The Priory Academy

Course description

Aims to be applied to the care sector whose contexts inculdes health, social care, early years care and education. It takes into account the integration of services.

At AS students will focus on the needs of clients and techniques and professional services aimed at meetng those needs, such as rights, responsibilites and values, communication in care setting and health well being.

At A2 students will adress factors affecting issues involved in service delivery by looking at service provison and practitioner roles, understanding human behaviour and development and draw together these apects for specific children.


Entry requirements

Grade C or above GCSE English amd ideally BTEC Health and Social Care Merit.
