Course description

WHAT DOES THE SUBJECT INCLUDE?

Contribute to the Improvement of Business Performance – This unit covers the knowledge and skills required to solve problems in any context and contribute to the achievement of process and quality improvements.

Create Bespoke Business Documents – In this unit you will learn how to create and produce a range of accurate and high-quality business documents to be used internally and externally to the organisation. You will demonstrate the knowledge and skills to use relevant software applications and hardware effectively and efficiently to produce a variety of business documents. You will learn how to plan and organize your work effectively.

Produce Business Documents – You will learn how to produce documents that are fit for purpose, that are accurate and that comply with organizational guidelines.  You will produce documents using different software packages demonstrating your knowledge of various software the organisation uses.

Buddy a colleague to develop their skills – You will learn how to give positive and constructive feedback to a colleague.  You will have the opportunity to develop new techniques that will build a relationship with your colleague and pass on your experience to them using advice and guidance.

IS THIS COURSE FOR ME?

The BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration (QCF) has been developed in collaboration with the Sector Skills Body for business using the most recent National Occupational Standards. It integrates competency and knowledge units into a single ‘combined' qualification. This is one of a suite of new work-based business skills qualifications developed in response to emerging industry trends and the skills and knowledge requirements of employers.

Entry requirements

WHAT ARE THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS?

No prior knowledge, understanding, skills or qualification are required before you can enrol for this qualification.  However, it is likely you will be seeking work in the Business Administration Sector or employed in a cross-sector role of function that involves responsibility for carrying out and managing business administration operations and functions.
