As an apprentice administrator you will assist in the provision of effective and efficient administrative project support, whilst working towards an intermediate level apprenticeship in Business Administration.

Course content

Key Responsibilities:Provide administrative assistance to the Administration Management Office.Assist with the organisation of all aspects of office admin, group meetings, events & workshops, paperwork and accurate record and note keeping. Maintain electronic and manual filing systems to help colleagues work effectively and efficiently.Participate in team meetings.Undertake tasks that from time to time may be allocated, including those relating to Health and Safety, Data Protection etc.Answering and dealing with telephone enquiries. This includes logging calls, fielding calls and taking messages.

Desired skillsYou will have:A sunny, confident personality with a can do attitude.Good administrative and organisational skills.The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels both internally and externally.Be computer literate, able to type and have sound written skills.Have excellent communication skills to enable you to deal effectively with everyone, over the phone, face to face and via email.You should be flexible and able to respond to changing tasks and workloads.

Financial information

An apprenticeship is a programme of learning while at work. Our apprenticeships are offered free – all we ask is that you complete the programme.
Weekly wage: £150.00
