Health & Social Care - Level 2 Diploma at London South East Colleges - Bexley (formerly Bexley College)

Course description

This course is a practical, ‘hands-on’ programme, taught in the context of real jobs and careers.

Students will study a number of units, including:

  • Communication in Health and Social Care
  • The Impact of diet on health
  • Anatomy and Physiology
  • Creative and Therapeutic activities

 

In addition, students will gain a qualification in Essential Skills English and Maths.

Entry requirements

  • 4 GCSEs Grade D or above
  • Level 1 English and/or Maths
  • Successful interview with college staff

Assessment

  • Course work including written assignments, professional discussions and projects.
  • Work Placement(s).
  • Examinations in Essential Skills.
